What is the NLite Laser?

The NLite was designed specifically to combat the effects of aging gently. It is a revolutionary non-ablative laser that does not wound the surface of the skin. The NLite laser energy is focused beneath the skin to gently stimulate the production of collagen.

The new collagen fills in and softens the appearance of wrinkles and aging skin. These precise treatments may take from 10 to 30 minutes depending on the size and number of wrinkles being treated.

Are NLite facial rejuvenation treatments for you?

Your doctor will review your medical history, age, skin type and pigmentation, consider your desired results, and determine the best course of treatment for you. Results will vary from patient to patient depending on age, skin type, and condition.

How many treatments will I need?

Every patient is different. Most see results after the first or second treatment. Treatments are normally spaced six to eight weeks apart in the beginning, and then eight to twelve weeks in a maintenance program. Your maintenance program will last as long as you would like to retard the effects of aging or the need for a more aggressive treatment such as laser resurfacing or a facelift.

What will my recovery be like?

NLite facial rejuvenation is so gentle there is no interruption to your normal life. During your series of in-office treatments, you will see ongoing improvement in how your skin looks and feels. No tissue is removed. There is no oozing or crusting as associated with laser treatments, chemical peels and dermabrasion. Bandages are not required.
