April Farrell, M.D.

Dr. Farrell joined the Skin Care Doctor’s team in 2006 and is a native Minnesotan.  She attended the University of Minnesota and obtained a B.S. in Nutrition. Dr. Farrell then graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 2002 and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota in 2006. Dr. Farrell is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Farrell resides in the western suburbs with her husband and two sons.  In addition to spending time with her family, Dr. Farrell enjoys traveling, skiing and boating.  Having been a professional dancer for two years in Los Angeles, Dr. Farrell also continues to involve herself in ballet and jazz dancing.

Her clinical interests include skin cancer, pediatric, general, and surgical dermatology with special interests in laser and cosmetic procedures including Botox, Juvederm, Radiesse, Sculptra and fractional resurfacing. Dr. Farrell is available for appointments in our Orono and St. Cloud locations.
