Replenish Lost Volume

Facial collagen loss is a key factor in aging one’s appearance. Collagen is a supportive structure for your skin, provides overall volume, and gives shape to your face. At about age 30, collagen loss decreases elasticity and moisture. Sculptra® stimulates collagen, helping to replenish lost volume and correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and creases.

What Is Sculptra®?

Sculptra® is an FDA-approved injectable that contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable substance that stimulates collagen growth in the skin. Unlike other dermal fillers that provide immediate results, Sculptra® works gradually over several months. It is a safe, minimally invasive, and long-lasting treatment that can improve the appearance of wrinkles, folds, and hollow areas in the face, resulting in a more youthful and radiant look without surgery or downtime.

The Sculptra® Advantages

Long-Lasting Results

Sculptra is known for its long-lasting effects. Unlike other dermal fillers, which may need to be touched up every few months, Sculptra can last up to two years.

Non-Surgical

Sculptra is a non-surgical treatment, meaning that it does not require any incisions or downtime. Patients can resume their regular activities immediately after treatment.

Natural-Looking Improvements

Sculptra® helps your body regrow its collagen source over an extended period. Designed to improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines gradually, Sculptra® helps your body regenerate its natural tissue for a subtle, steady improvement in lines and wrinkles that result in a more youthful look.

Versatile

Sculptra® can treat a variety of cosmetic concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of volume in multiple areas of the face, such as the cheeks, temples, chin, and jawline. It can also improve the appearance of scars and other skin imperfections.

Sculptra® Treatment: What to Expect

The treatment begins with a consultation with one of our board-certified medical providers in which your facial structure, skin tone, and overall health are assessed to determine if you are a good candidate for Sculptra®.

During your treatment, the medical provider will clean the area and apply a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort. The Sculptra® solution is then injected into the targeted areas of the face using a fine needle.

After the injection, our provider will massage the treated area to distribute the Sculptra® evenly and prevent any lumps in the skin. The number of required injections will depend on your individual needs and desired outcome.

You may experience mild swelling, bruising, or redness at the site of the injections, but these side effects typically lessen within a few days. Our medical providers recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise and excessive sun exposure for a few days after the treatment.

Sculptra® Results

Results from Sculptra® can take several weeks to become noticeable, as the treatment works by stimulating collagen production in the skin. Patients typically require a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart to achieve optimal results. The effects of Sculptra® can last up to two years, making it a long-lasting and effective option for restoring a more youthful appearance without surgery or any downtime.
