Meet Crista
Crista (Wilkening) Wenisch, CNP began her career in dermatology as a nurse practitioner in 2012. She has since practiced in Des Moines, Iowa and most recently spent nearly seven years in Mankato, Minnesota. She holds a BSN from Allen College in Iowa and an MSN from Clarkson College in Nebraska. Her nursing experience included time spent in cardiology/pulmonology, ophthalmology, and labor/delivery.
She specializes in medical and surgical dermatology and thoroughly enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Her areas of interest include acne, warts, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, mole removal, phototherapy, hair loss, connective tissue disease, and patch testing. Crista takes an individualized approach to each patient. She is very committed to the field of dermatology, the newest treatment options available, and helping each patient achieve the best outcome.
