Before the treatment, you will have an initial consultation with the Skin Care Doctors' provider to discuss your medical history and any allergies. The provider will also examine your facial muscles to determine the appropriate injection sites and dosage for the Daxxify® treatment. Be sure to inform your provider of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you take before receiving the treatment. You must also disclose if you have received any other botulinum toxin injections within the past four months.

Injections

During the treatment, you will be seated comfortably while the provider uses a fine needle to inject the Daxxify into the targeted muscles. The procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes to complete, and you can resume regular activities immediately afterward. Most patients report minimal to no pain during the treatment, but some may experience mild discomfort or a slight burning sensation at the injection site. Ice or a topical numbing cream applied beforehand can help alleviate any discomfort.
