Margaret Spartz, M.D.

Dr. Margaret Spartz is a uniquely qualified vein doctor caring for venous diseases at all stages of progression for patients in the Minneapolis area. Her training with leading experts in dermatology gives her a clear understanding of the best practices in treating venous disease. She compassionately partners with her patients to deliver the most medically responsible decisions to improve their quality of life.

Shannon Greaves, CNP

Shannon has worked globally, using her medical training to serve patients in the Emergency Department. She began her nursing career in the Transplant Intensive Care Unit at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, before obtaining her Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification. Shannon now works as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in vascular medicine.

Heather Pederson, CNP

Heather graduated from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, Cum Laude and joined her nursing school’s international nursing honors society while competing on the women’s tennis team. She worked in Sioux Falls for a cardiovascular medical/surgical unit before returning to Minnesota and earning her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato.

Directions to the Clinic

The Spartz Vein Clinic is situated near the intersection of Beam Avenue and Highway 36, making it easily accessible from anywhere in the Twin Cities metro area.

If you are driving from the north, take I-35E S and merge onto MN-36 E. Take the White Bear Ave exit and turn left onto White Bear Ave. If you are driving from the south, take I-35E N and merge onto MN-36 E. Take the White Bear Ave exit and turn right onto White Bear Ave. Turn left onto Beam Ave, and the clinic will be on your left.

Patients driving to the clinic can park in the lot adjacent to the building, which offers ample parking spaces. The clinic is located near several bus stops for those using public transportation.

Dr. Spartz and her staff are truly great people!!! They don't talk down to you or treat you like cattle, just trying to make their money. They really care about you and your outcome. It is a casual yet professional environment that just makes you feel comfortable right from the start.
